Microwave Night Light Won T Turn Off

The weird thing is that now the light won t go off.

Yes there is a switch on the control panel to turn light on and select bright or not so bright. I tried unplugging the microwave for 30 seconds or so to let it reset but as soon as i plugged it back in the light is on. I replaced the lightbulbs on my kenmore microwave model 721 62622200 but they stay on even though the switch says 0ff and they do not respond to the night setting either. Greetings i replaced the bulb purchased from sears parts direct online for the nightlight underneath the microwave but now the light stays on all the time.

I replaced both bulbs but the lights still won t go out. If the control board is not sending enough voltage to the light bulb socket replace the control board. Replaced one of the bulbs and heard a pop noise and the lights in the kitchen went out. Everything worked fine up until when the old bulbs burned out.
